Kicking off a set of articles on different ways of fighting that email spam I’ve come to hate (I’m sure you don’t like it either), I’ll start out by talking about the solution to one of the biggest sources of spam for website developers. I will also eventually cover the Sender Policy Framework (SPF), BoxTrapper, Disposable Email Boxes, SpamAssassin and RBL Lists, and using GMail as a spam filter… concluding with an ideal setup which should result in 0% spam (without “false negatives” – legit emails that are incorrectly detected as spam).
