SnapBill South Africa to Seamlessly Integrate PayPal

paypal-snapbill-fadeGetting your SnapBill generated invoices paid has never been so easy!

SnapBill, Lusion Technologies’ free online, white label, billing and service provisioning system will be among the first South African online billing systems to seamlessly integrate PayPal, offering all SnapBill users another safe, easy way to pay and get paid online.

The Lusion Technologies team announced the exciting news hours after FNB confirmed their partnership with PayPal. South African blogs and forumsĀ  have been buzzing since First National Bank confirmed the rumors of an exclusive (for now anyway) partnership earlier this week, as this would now allow South African PayPal users to not only pay online, but withdraw payments they have received through PayPal via their qualifying FNB personal or business current accounts.

PayPal offers online users a secure service through which to engage in online transactions, allowing users to send and receive funds from other users in any participant PayPal country. PayPal claims the platform offers a safer, easier way to pay and get paid online. The service allows anyone to pay in the way they prefer, including via credit cards, bank accounts, buyer credit or account balances, without sharing financial information like your credit card or bank account number.

Who can use this service?

The fully integrated PayPal facility will be available to all registered SnapBill usersĀ  – free and premium account holders – who have a registered South African PayPal account and bank with FNB (visit the FNB website to view their conditions). All SnapBill users will be able to select PayPal as a payment method for their SnapBill generated invoices along side the current EFT or credit card payment options.

To enable PayPal as a payment option all SnapBill users need do is go to Payment under their Setup menu, enter their PayPal user ID and click enable. As simple as that! They will then be able to accept and make payments on or for any SnapBill generated invoices via PayPal.

What this will mean for the SnapBill user?

More than 200 million people in 190 countries and regions trust and use PayPal to send and receive money. With the integration of PayPal into the SnapBill system you can now accept payments from any PayPal user in any country or any invoice or service billed via SnapBill. Getting your SnapBill invoices paid has never been so easy!

Seamless SnapBill/PayPal integrating is set to be launched on the 1st of April 2010 - no April fools joke!
